History
One of Winston Churchill’s favourite cigars, this brand has a rich and distinguished history. The No. 2 is one of the original sizes of the Montecristo brand, which was created in Cuba by Alonso Menendez in 1935.
Due to its long history and popularity, Montecristo is probably the most instantly recognisable brand of Cuban cigars. It’s the yardstick from which all other brands are measured. The name originates from the novel ‘The Count of Montecristo’ by Alexander Dumas.
